PRESS CONFERENCE

The Mayor of the Municipality of Shannon, Mr. Clive Kiley, is pleased to invite you to an important press conference regarding our potable drinking water on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Shannon Community Center at 75 Gosford Road.
On this occasion, the Mayor of Shannon will officially inaugurate our new aqueduct system.
The Municipality is now able to offer the best quality of life possible for the residents of Shannon. We feel that this gesture will ensure a strong sense of belonging for all present and future residents.

MUNICIPAL OFFICE CLOSED
Please note that the municipal office at 50 St. Patrick will be closed Tuesday, September 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A press conference regarding the inauguration of our new aqueduct system is being held at the Community Centre at 75 Gosford at 10 a.m.

The Municipality of Shannon is situated along the banks of the magnificent Jacques-Cartier River, approximately 25 km north of the St. Lawrence River and Quebec City. The original people that settled here were of Irish descent.
